YWCA of NE Kansas gears up for Week Without Violence
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Persons are invited to take a stand towards violence with the YWCA of Northeast Kansas’ annual Week With out Violence.
Actions are deliberate the week of Oct. 17, and are available on the heels of two shootings involving Topeka Cops that began as home violence calls.
YWCA of NE Kansas CEO Kathleen Marker visited Eye on NE Kansas to speak in regards to the home violence state of affairs in Topeka, saying the demand for his or her providers via the YWCA Middle for Security and Empowerment stays excessive.
