Tornado watch covers Kansas City metro area and numerous Missouri counties as storms approach
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A tornado watch has been issued for the Kansas City metro area and all Missouri counties included in the KCTV viewing area.
The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for these counties until 4 a.m. Tuesday.

- Miami, KS
- Platte, MO
- Ray, MO
- Wyandotte, KS
It follows a tornado watch in Atchison, Douglas, Franklin and Anderson counties in Kansas that is in effect until 11 p.m. Monday.
