Semi fire closes both directions of I-670 near downtown Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — UPDATE, 1:08 p.m. | The Kansas Metropolis, Missouri, Hearth Division says the crash was between two tractor trailers.
The drivers of each autos have been transported to an space hospital in unknown situation.
The division says there’s a gas leak on the scene that it’s working to dam.
UPDATE, 12:50 p.m. | MoDOT says crews are closing each instructions of the interstate.
EARLIER | An obvious hearth involving a semi tractor-trailer shut down a portion of Interstate 670 early Monday afternoon.
The Missouri Division of Transportation tweeted that “crews are working to shut I-670 at I-70 on the Kansas facet and can route all site visitors to I-70,” making a site visitors backup within the space.
