Police investigating death of man found unresponsive in Kansas City parking lot

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Police confirmed the death of a man Monday morning after he was found unresponsive in the area of 31st Street and Indiana Avenue.

The Kansas City Police Department stated officers received a call at 6:47 a.m. for a man who was found lying in a parking lot.

Law enforcement has yet to announce a cause of death and said at 8:40 a.m. that the area would be closed for at least two hours.

Police said there is no threat to the public.
