Passenger seriously injured after rear-end collision on Kansas highway
WICHITA, Kan. (WIBW) – The passenger of a car that was rear-ended on a Kansas freeway close to Wichita has been hospitalized with severe accidents.
The Kansas Freeway Patrol Crash Log signifies that round 1:50 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, emergency crews had been referred to as to the realm of mile marker 231 on eastbound Freeway 54 with reviews of a 2-vehicle crash.
When officers arrived, they stated they discovered a 2023 Nissan Sentra pushed by Timothy McBride, 61, of Augusta, had began to decelerate on the freeway with its hazard lights on. McBride had tried to report a separate car as an erratic driver.
As McBride made the report, officers stated a 2011 Hona Accord pushed by Sonja Todd, 59, of Wichita, smashed into the again of the automotive.
Officers indicated that McBride’s passenger, John Smith, 48, of Augusta, was taken to Wesley Hospital in Wichita with suspected severe accidents. In the meantime, each McBride and Todd complained of ache on the scene however weren’t despatched to the hospital. All concerned had been carrying their seatbelts on the time of the crash.
