Missing man found deceased after vacant car discovered in KC

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A man who was reported missing after his vehicle was found near a Kansas City college campus has been found deceased.

The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department announced on Sunday evening, Aug. 18, that missing Breyden Hensley, 23, had been found deceased near W. 29th and Summit St., near Penn Valley Park.

Detectives said the death remains under investigation, the cause of which will be determined by a medical examiner. However, there do not appear to be signs of foul play.

Investigators noted that Hensley’s vehicle was found near the Metropolitan Community College – Penn Valley Campus near 33rd and SW Trafficway four days beforehand.

Hensley had been reported missing after he had last been seen near Walmart at 11601 E. 40 Highway on Sunday, Aug. 11.
