KC fire crews fighting large warehouse fire in the northeast Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City fire crews were called to a warehouse fire in the cities northeast shortly after noon Thursday.
Several callers reported heavy smoke and fire from a warehouse at 3510 Nicholson Avenue at about 12:10 p.m.
Firefighters reported heavy smoke that could be seen from a distance while they were en-route to fight the blaze.
There is a large propane tank on site, which firefighters are aware of.
Firefighters tried to fight the fire from the inside, but were ordered to evacuate the building and fight it from the outside.
