KBI introduces new fentanyl trafficking task force, first ever fentanyl-detecting K-9 officers in Kansas

The team, comprised of KBI special agents, Kansas Highway Patrol troopers and Homeland Security agents, says the objective of the JFIT is to “identify and disrupt fentanyl trafficking and distribution networks, and remove this deadly drug from Kansas streets,” a press release said.
