Kansas Turnpike wreck in Chase County sends two people to El Dorado for medical treatment

A pair of wrecks on the Kansas Turnpike throughout Saturday’s storm exercise led to reported accidents.

The Kansas Freeway Patrol says a wreck round 8:20 pm close to mile marker 97, simply southwest of the Matfield Inexperienced service exit, despatched two folks to Susan B Allen Hospital in El Dorado for therapy. The motive force, 44-year-old Quincy Norris of Peoria, Illinois, was southbound when he misplaced management of his automotive because of the moist freeway. Norris was taken to the hospital with suspected minor accidents, however a passenger, 63-year-old Wanda White of Broadview, Kansas, went to the hospital with suspected critical accidents. Each have been carrying seatbelts on the time of the crash.
