Kansas State announces sellout for football game against Kansas
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — There are not any tickets left for the Dillons Sunflower Showdown, the Kansas State athletics division introduced Thursday.
Kansas State, which hosts rival Kansas for the annual intrastate soccer conflict on Nov. 26 at Invoice Snyder Household Stadium, mentioned all tickets, together with standing-room solely tickets, have been bought.
The Wildcats have now bought out all seven residence video games for the 2022 season. It marks the primary time in six years each residence sport was a sellout.
The Jayhawks are having fun with a renaissance beneath second-year coach Lance Leipold.
KU is 6-3, together with a 3-3 file in Huge 12 play.
Kansas is bowl eligible for the primary time since 2008 and already has gained as many convention video games as this system did within the earlier 5 seasons mixed.
The Jayhawks hadn’t gained a couple of Huge 12 sport in any season since 2008, going 8-106 with 5 winless seasons in convention play throughout that 13-year span.
No. 19 Okay-State can be 6-3, however — at 4-2 in convention — sits in a three-way tie for second place within the convention standings.
