K-State names 4 Kansas products among 6 captains for 2024

MANHATTAN, Kan. (KWCH) – Four Kansas products, including three from the Catch It Kansas area, will represent the Kansas State football team as captains in 2024.

Quarterback Avery Johnson (Maize), defensive end Cody Stufflebean (McPherson) and offensive lineman Hadley Panzer (Lakin) are among the group of six selected to lead K-State this season.

Linebacker Austin Moore of Louisburg, was also selected, as was Iowa City defensive lineman Brendan Mott and Omaha safety Marques Sigle.
