Free health checkups offered to all at upcoming Kansas City event

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – It’s time to “play ball” with your health.

A free event will provide free health screenings and checkups for anyone who needs them.

Hundreds of people are expected to attend the public health and safety fair Saturday, July 13, at the Kansas City Urban Youth Academy. The event is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Organizers plan to offer health screenings, immunizations, smoke detectors, and smoke detectors. Qualified families can also get free car and booster seats for children.
