Vietnam Veteran from Iowa: “we need to keep remembering”

This Memorial Day Iowans gathered on the Newton Union Cemetery, remembering and honoring our fallen troops. “We owe an immeasurable debt of gratitude to those People who’ve given a lot to guard this bountiful nation and the freedoms which we get pleasure from and we pray will endure,” says Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks. One after the other, the names of the 95 Jasper County Veterans who’ve handed away since final Memorial Day have been learn. Vietnam Veteran John McMahon served within the Air Drive.
