After picking up its second straight loss of the season, where does Iowa State stand in the newest college football rankings?
The Cyclones lost a high-scoring affair against Kansas at Arrowhead Stadium, 45-36. They dropped to 7-2 overall and 4-2 in Big 12 Conference play.
Iowa State returns to action at home on Saturday. The Cyclones will host visiting Cincinnati. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

On Sunday, the Cyclones fell to No. 25 in the US LBM Coaches Poll. Previously, the Cyclones were No. 18.
The AP poll is scheduled for release later on Sunday afternoon. Last week, the Cyclones were No. 17.
