Two dead after 15-vehicle pileup on icy I-80 in Iowa Sunday
IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — Two persons are useless and a number of other others are injured after a 15-vehicle pileup in icy circumstances on Interstate 80 close to Iowa Metropolis Sunday.
The Iowa State Patrol mentioned the crash occurred after a number of drivers misplaced management on the icy freeway and collided round 5:45 a.m. 9 of the automobiles concerned within the crash have been semitrailer vans.
Westbound lanes of Interstate 80 have been closed for greater than eight hours after the crash. Two of the three lanes reopened by 2 p.m.
