Ron DeSantis making stops in Siouxland ahead of Iowa Caucus
LE MARS, Iowa – We are just days away from the Iowa Caucuses on January 15th, and candidates have been making their way all around the Hawkeye state.
One candidate made their way through Northwest Iowa on Thursday. Florida Governor, Ron Desantis visited the Blue Bunny Ice Cream Parlor in Le Mars this afternoon.
De Santis is still significantly behind former President Donald Trump in the caucus polls, but he remains confident that he will be able to sway the undecided voters and have a strong showing on Monday.
“We have massive numbers of people committed to caucus. We’re going to turn all of them out we’re going to barn storm we’re going to get the undecideds in this last stretch run and bring it into a conclusion on Monday,” said DeSantis. “Donald Trump is running for his issues, Nikki Haley is running for her donors, I’m running for your issues.”
DeSantis will make a few more stops in SIouxland ahead of the Caucus. He’ll hold meetings in Storm Lake and Spirit Lake on January 13th, and a meeting in Sioux City on the 14th.
