Penn State report card for Iowa: Hawkeyes can’t stand the heat generated by the Lions’ ‘D’
Penn State looked like a top-10 team against Iowa on Saturday night at Beaver Stadium. I would not disagree if you thought James Franklin’s Nittany Lions looked like a top-5 team. It’s not that easy to beat a Kirk Ferentz squad by 31 points, home or away. The history of the Penn State-Iowa series is proof.
But the Lions are dangerous, and if the offense can start generating more big plays (any big plays), there may not be a better team in the Big Ten.
