ANN ARBOR, Michigan – The Tenth-ranked Michigan area hockey workforce shut out the fifth-ranked College of Iowa area hockey workforce, 2-0, on Sunday afternoon at Phyllis Ocker Area.

Iowa has recorded back-to-back losses for the primary time this season dropping the workforce’s report to 10-5 total, 3-4 in Large Ten play.

The Wolverines took the lead within the twenty eighth minute on Tina D’Anjolell’s unassisted strike and Michigan doubled its lead when Lora Clarke scored on a rebound within the forty seventh minute.

Senior Grace McGuire recorded 10 saves within the contest — the second-most saves she has tallied this season.

OF NOTE…
– It’s McGuire’s second profession sport with 10+ saves. She had a career-high 11 saves towards North Carolina within the second sport of the season.
– Iowa has not scored because the 53rd minute of the James Madison matchup.
– Michigan out-shot Iowa, 21-3, and had a 10-3 benefit in penalty corners.
