Man killed in Iowa County crash

MARENGO, Iowa (KCRG) – A Marengo man has died after a crash in Iowa County on Tuesday.

The Iowa State Patrol said it happened at around 2:33 p.m. in the 2000 block of 210th Street in Marengo.

ISP said 52-year-old William Myers was driving an SUV southbound on 210th Street when he crossed the centerline on a curve in the road, resulting in an offset, head-on collision with a truck that was pulling a trailer in the northbound lane.

Myers, the only person in the SUV, died in the crash. Officials did not report any injuries for the driver of the other vehicle.
