Iowa State University Extension shares tips to rid invasive plants

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – The Spring season is here, and with it plants start to bloom, including invasive plants that can be bad for our environment.

Jolinda Eggars, the Natural Resources Program Coordinator at the Iowa State University Extension in Bettendorf, joins to share about the invasive plants that can be found and what can be done about them.

One event coming up with the extension office is a Garlic Mustard pull challenge on May 4 from 9 – 11:30 a.m. at various locations that can be chosen when signing up. With a lunch to follow the event.
