Iowa man sentenced to 50 years in prison for death of a toddler

HAMPTON, Iowa (KCCI) – The northern Iowa man who pleaded responsible within the demise of a kid has been sentenced to 50 years in jail.

KCCI reviews Jhonny Suarez Rivera was initially charged with first-degree homicide within the demise of a 23-month baby, however he pleaded responsible to baby endangerment in September.

Hampton police stated the boy was taken to the hospital in August 2020 the place he was later pronounced useless from a number of blunt power accidents.

Investigators stated Suarez Rivera was the kid’s sole caretaker on the time.
