How Iowa Met Baseball: the Myths, the History, the Players

The Newton Public Library has acquired funding from Humanities Iowa, a non-public, non‐revenue state affiliate of the Nationwide Endowment for the Humanities, to host a presentation referred to as, How Iowa Met Baseball: the Myths, the Historical past, the Gamers by John Liepa at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 16 within the Newton Public Library assembly room. A cultural useful resource for Iowans since 1971, Humanities Iowa gives many cultural and historic packages and grants to Iowa’s communities.
