Cool change ahead for Eastern Iowa
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – All storm exercise has moved off to the east because the winds shift course. West and northwest winds are transferring into the state, bringing a temperature drop for the tip of the week and the weekend.
Highs will fall into the 40s and 50s and are anticipated to stay that approach initially of subsequent week. In a single day lows will drop under freezing, indicating the potential of a tough freeze on Sunday and Monday morning.
