CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) — A Chicago man was convicted Tuesday of capturing and critically wounding an Iowa sheriff’s deputy throughout a theft at a comfort retailer in 2021.

Stanley Donahue, 38, was convicted of a number of fees, together with tried homicide, stemming from the capturing in Coggon, a city about 20 miles (32 kilometers) northeast of Cedar Rapids.
