With Caitlin Clark’s birthday approaching Jan. 22, her Iowa women’s basketball teammates threw her an early celebration complete with confetti and a pair of cakes.
It was Clark, though, who was in a gift-giving mood.
At the party, the Hawkeyes’ superstar guard gave each of her teammates a pair of Nike shoes, with her teammates showing off their presents in a video posted to TikTok Thursday by Iowa guard Kylie Feuerbach.

Clark has a name, image and likeness (NIL) deal with the footwear titan, one of several prominent partnerships her on-court excellence has earned her. The West Des Moines native has also signed with Gatorade, State Farm, Buick and Hy-Vee, among others.
Clark will turn 22 on Jan. 22, one day after Iowa takes on Ohio State in a matchup of top-20 teams. The day may have some extra significance or symbolism for Clark, whose jersey number is 22. One of the cakes she was presented at the party was in the shape of the number.
The six-foot guard is averaging a Division I-best 31 points. 7.7 assists and 7.2 rebounds per game while shooting 40.1% from 3-point range. As the No. 2 Hawkeyes continue their stellar season, Clark is closing in on the Big Ten and Division I career scoring records.
