Body of missing Marion man found in rural Linn Co.

MARION, Iowa (KCRG) – Greater than a month after being reported lacking, the physique of a lacking Marion man has been situated.

Ted Wolf, 83, was discovered by an individual strolling their canine in rural Linn County. Officers didn’t give a particular location of the place the physique was discovered. In a press launch from Marion Police, investigators stated his physique and automobile have been situated at a “important distance from the roadway and obscured in some timber.”

Police stated there have been no indicators of foul play.

Wolf was final seen driving on January sixteenth, at 12:30 p.m. He was driving his crimson Ford Edge. On the time, officers stated that when he left his residence, he didn’t have his cellular phone and would have been headed towards Lisbon for a scheduled appointment. He didn’t arrive at that appointment. Later, investigators stated Wolf made a purchase order on the BP fuel station in Walford the day he went lacking.

Surveillance video from the fuel station reveals Ted briefly getting into the shop, leaving the BP, and heading northbound on Freeway 151. Cameras noticed him later persevering with to journey northbound on Freeway 151.
