‘Agronomy in the Field’ Events Planned across Iowa

AMES, Iowa – 4 Agronomy within the Discipline cohorts are being supplied in 2023 throughout Iowa. Agronomy within the Discipline is a workshop sequence for girls that gives studying alternatives for forage and crop manufacturing.

The main focus is on growing agronomic decision-making expertise that may be utilized on one’s personal private farm or household cropping operations, together with water high quality and conservation practices.

The workshops are organized by Iowa State College Extension and Outreach and are helpful for landowners, lively farmers and farm households, and others within the agricultural trade serious about a refresher on agronomic fundamentals.
