INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) –   Rain returns for today and tomorrow. It will be cloudy with temperatures remaining below normal for your Wednesday.

TODAY:  We are starting with temperatures below freezing again this morning. A freeze warning is in place until 9:00 this morning. We’ll see a little bit of sunshine early on but Clouds quickly roll in for the late morning hours. Rain chances will be possible around the lunch hour and into the afternoon. Rain will be light, maybe moderate at times.

Winds will be a bit breezy out of the south and make gust at times near 20 mph. High temperatures climb into the upper 40s near 50 in Indianapolis. Highs will be a little bit warmer further southward into the mid and upper 50s.

TONIGHT:  Rain showers will continue through the overnight hours under mostly cloudy skies. We will not see temperatures drop as much as the last few mornings. Lows will fall into the lower 40s.

TOMORROW: mostly cloudy skies on Thursday. Chance for a few scattered showers, maybe even a few rumbles of thunder as well. High temperatures will climb close to 60° which is near normal for this time of the year. Rainfall amounts will be between about a 10th of an inch, maybe up to a half an inch in some locations. 

FRIDAY: Dry conditions on Friday with some sunshine. Temperatures do drop into the lower 50s for Friday afternoon.

7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: This weekend does look dry we’ll look for mostly sunny skies on Saturday with high temperatures near normal into the upper 50s. Even warmer conditions on Sunday under sunny skies with high temperatures into the mid 60s .

The beginning of the work week shows we’ll see a chance for some showers partly cloudy skies on Monday. High temps on Monday could climb into the lower 70s.
