Pedestrian stuck, killed by driver on city’s northwest side

INDIANAPOLIS — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a driver on the northwest side of Indianapolis Saturday night.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the 2000 block of Lafayette Road on reports of a personal injury crash at 8:43 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers located a pedestrian who had been struck. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services.

No additional information has been provided.
