INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Original Farmers’ Market kicked off the start of the season today on Monument Circle, offering a variety of produce, activities, and live music.

The market is a SNAP-approved event, allowing visitors to use their EBT cards to purchase tokens for vendor goods. It aims to be a community event for everyone, including families and pets.

“We want everyone to come down to the farmers market,” Original Farmers’ Market Manager Hannah Bair said. “We want it to be a really fun community-based activity for anybody who lives downtown, works downtown, lives in the surrounding areas.”

The Original Farmers’ Market is held every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. until October. Visitors can find the market located on the south half of Monument Circle.
