Purdue basketball keeps taking on challenge after challenge, this time with a chance to knock off No. 1.

The No. 4 Boilermakers (9-1) rode Zach Edey (35 points) and Braden Smith (27) to hold off Alabama in Toronto. Edey (24.8 points, 10.8 rebounds, 2.6 blocked shots) and Smith (13.2 points, 45.5% on 3-pointers, 5.9 rebounds, 7.2 assists, 1.6 steals) power Purdue, with help from Lance Jones (10.6 points, 1.7 steals) and Fletcher Loyer (10.2 points).

The Arizona Wildcats (8-0) already own two wins over Big Ten teams, most recently against Wisconsin. They also won at Duke. Their starting lineup is full of capable scorers: Caleb Love (14.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists), Keshad Johnson (12.6, 6.9 rebounds), Oumar Ballo (12.5 points, 6.3 rebounds), Kylan Boswell (12.4 points, 52.5% 3-point shooting, 4.8 assists) and Pelle Larsson (12.3 points, 3.9 rebounds).
