Man’s death following August incident is ruled homicide, Indianapolis police say
INDIANAPOLIS — A person’s loss of life from accidents he suffered in late August has been dominated a murder, police say.
Dennis Stombaugh died in September after officers discovered him injured in Downtown Indianapolis on Aug. 27, in accordance with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Division. His loss of life was decided to be a murder on Nov. 11.
Officers responded about 8:15 that August night time to the intersection of North Delaware Road and East North Road to finish a welfare test on Stombaugh, who was bleeding.
On the scene, police discovered Stombaugh with head accidents. He was chatting with places of work as much as the purpose he was transported to an area hospital.
The case was assigned to a murder detective on Sept. 9, two days earlier than Stombaugh died from his accidents.
Police haven’t offered further data.
