Indy woman gets 8 years for hitting construction worker while driving drunk

INDIANAPOLIS — A 26-year-old Indianapolis lady pleaded responsible to driving whereas drunk and hitting and killing a building employee. She was sentenced to eight years, however received’t serve her full sentence within the Indiana Division of Correction.

Cheyenne Prass was arrested in July 2020 after placing and killing 23-year-old building employee David Vasquez Jr. of Terre Haute. Prass was stated to be driving on Interstate 65 via the north break up close to downtown Indianapolis when she swerved onto the shoulder and struck Vasquez in a building zone.

After hitting Vasquez, Prass’s car collided with a building truck, span again into visitors and hit a semi and one other car. No different drivers have been injured, nevertheless.
