Indy is place to be in 2026 with NCAA basketball’s all-in-one championship weekend.

If you’re a college basketball fan, you absolutely must plan to be in Indianapolis in early April 2026.

The NCAA announced Thursday the 2026 Div. I, II and III national championships, as well as the NIT, will be determined in Indianapolis.

∎ As previously announced, the Final Four will be April 4 and 6 at Lucas Oil Stadium.

∎ The NIT semifinals will be played Thursday, April 2, at Butler’s Hinkle Fieldhouse, with the championship game on April 5.

∎ The Div. II and III title games are scheduled for April 5 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The NCAA played all three of its men’s championships in Atlanta in 2013. All three women’s championships have been played in Indianapolis (2016) and Dallas (2023).

Did NCAA expand NCAA tournament? Did they expand March Madness?

The release said the men’s 2025 NCAA tournament will remain at 68 teams, with 31 conference champions and 37 at-large teams.

During the ’25 tournament, game officials will use technology commonly used in the NBA to announce results of play reviews.
