Indianapolis traffic: Where to expect closures, delays on I-465 and I-69 this week

INDIANAPOLIS — More traffic changes are coming to Indianapolis interstates starting this week, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.
Motorists are asked to be mindful of the changes and to expect delays.
Here’s what to know:
I-465 closures and traffic changes
Bridge work will narrow westbound I-465 between I-69/I-465 and Mann Road to one lane from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Monday, Sept. 23. The work is expected to last through Wednesday, Sept. 25.
Double-lane closures and 20-minute stops are coming to westbound I-465 between I-65 and US 31 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27 for bridge beam delivery.
Double lane closures and 20-minute stops also are coming to westbound and eastbound I-465 between Mann Road and I-70 beginning 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27 through 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30 for milling, paving and lane-shift operations.
The southbound US 31 and East Street ramp to westbound I-465 will remain closed through late 2024.
I-69 lane closures and traffic changes
Be aware of mowing crews in the right-of-way along I-69 between SR144 and Fairview Road.
A right-lane restriction will be placed on southbound I-69 between County Line Road and Fairview Road between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25 through Friday, Sept. 27.
Southport Road over I-69 will go down to a single lane in each direction between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. from Monday, Sept. 23 through Friday, Sept. 27 to improve traffic signal timing.
