IMPD is investigating an officer-involved shooting on Indy’s near east side
INDIANAPOLIS — In response to IMPD, an officer concerned taking pictures is being investigated on the close to east facet of Indianapolis.
Simply after 5 p.m. Saturday, IMPD tweeted that an officer concerned taking pictures occurred within the 300 block of Poplar.
That is close to E Michigan Avenue and Emerson Avenue.
Police mentioned the incident began as a pursuit of a stolen car. Throughout the pursuit, three officers had been concerned in a crash that left them with minor accidents.
Not one of the officers had been shot throughout the incident.
They had been all transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening accidents.
In response to police, the suspect was shot by officers and was transported to the hospital in secure situation.
IMPD had an officer-involved taking pictures within the 300 block of Poplar (Close to Michigan and Emerson). A number of officers obtained non-life-threatening accidents throughout the incident. Police say there isn’t a ongoing menace to the general public at the moment and they don’t seem to be actively in search of anybody.
This can be a growing story.
