The Colts seemed to have a boost with the return of Anthony Richardson at quarterback. They lost in a barn-burner to the Houston Texans in Week 1, but took a considerable step back last Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. Richardson threw three interceptions, while the Colts were outgained by the Packers and their backup quarterback, Malik Willis. If Richardson took care of the ball better, Indianapolis probably would have had a more favorable outcome than a 16-10 defeat. However, those are growing pains the team is going through with a young quarterback who has not played a full season.

The Bears are certainly seeing some of those struggles with their No. 1 overall pick, Caleb Williams. The Heisman Trophy winner has done very little to be a factor in Chicago’s offense, as the team has scored just one touchdown so far this season, that coming in a 19-13 loss to the Texans on Sunday Night Football last week. Chicago’s defense has unquestionably given them a chance to win. It is really the reason why they beat the Tennessee Titans to kick off the 2024 season and why CJ Stroud and company only scored one touchdown in Week 2.

The Colts are 25-19 against the Bears, including a win in their last meeting in 2020.

MY PICK: Colts win, 21-14
