Donald Trump Jr. and U.S. Rep. Jim Banks will share the stage at a town hall in Indianapolis on Nov. 6, hosted by PublicSq., a conservative digital marketplace company.
The “anti-woke” shopping app, which went public this summer and has been promoted heavily by the former president’s son, bills itself as a place where people can shop for products from businesses that align with patriotic, “pro-freedom” and “pro-family” values. He is also an investor in the company.
This is the company’s first official town hall, according to an event page, and it will be hosted by founder and CEO Michael Seifert at Nevermore Union Station downtown. Doors will open at 5 p.m., according to the event site, where those interested in attending can RSVP. Seifert could not immediately be reached for comment.
Trump’s father, former President Donald Trump, is the frontrunner among Republicans seeking the presidency in 2024.
Banks, a representative for Indiana’s 3rd Congressional District who’s from near Fort Wayne, is running for U.S. Sen. Mike Braun’s seat in 2024.
