Child shot Wednesday night during drive-by shooting on Indianapolis’ east side
INDIANAPOLIS — An 8-year-old woman was shot inside a home Wednesday night time, based on the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Division.
Police responded to the 4200 block of E. Washington Road round 9 p.m.
Household advised IMPD the shot got here from outdoors the house. The woman was shot within the leg and brought to Riley Hospital for Kids in secure situation.
Captain Mark McCardia says first responders utilized a tourniquet to the woman.
