Bicyclist killed in hit-and-run on South Rural Street in Indianapolis

A bicyclist was killed Wednesday morning in a hit-and-run collision with a automobile on the southeast aspect of Indianapolis, police stated.  

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Division responded to the collision within the 3000 block of South Rural Road. The bicyclist, whose age was not offered, was taken to a hospital the place they died.

Police stated the motive force of the automobile didn’t keep on the scene. Officers stated investigators have been on the scene of the collision shortly earlier than midday.
