1 critically injured in shooting on the west side of Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS — One person was critically injured in a shooting on the west side of Indianapolis on Sunday.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 5700 block of West Ray Street on a report of a person shot. When police arrived at the scene, they located a victim with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
IMPD reported that the victim is in critical condition. Public police reporting systems indicate officers were first called to the area around 2:48 p.m.
