Warren Central’s Stacy Mitchell has been named coach of the 2025 Indiana All-Stars.

Mitchell is 145-84 as Warren Central girls basketball coach, with zero losing seasons during his 10-year tenure — an impressive feat considering the team was coming off a three-win campaign when he took over in 2015-16. Following back-to-back 12-12 finishes, Mitchell became the first Black coach in Indiana to win a girls state championship, guiding the 2018 Warriors to a 20-7 record and the first state basketball title in school history (boys or girls).

The Tennessee native was an assistant coach with the 2018 Indiana Junior All-Stars and is the first Black coach to lead the girls Indiana All-Stars.

Mitchell will be assisted by Hamilton Southeastern’s Brian Satterfield and Jennings County’s Kristi Sigler.

The 4A semistate runner-up Royals finished 27-1 in their fourth season under Satterfield, while Sigler guided the Panthers to a 15-8 finish in her ninth season.

Satterfield, who previously coached the HSE boys, is 83-16; Sigler is 132-86.

The Indiana All-Stars are scheduled to play Kentucky on June 6 in Kentucky and on June 7 in Indianapolis.
