PORTER COUNTY — Police are in search of the general public’s assist discovering a lacking 13-year-old boy from northwest Indiana.

Blake Nielson of Portage was final seen about 7 p.m. Tuesday, in accordance with a statewide Silver Alert declared early Wednesday.

Blake is described as about 5 toes, 6 inches tall and 150 kilos. He was final seen sporting a inexperienced baseball cap, a black and/or tan T-shirt, grey sweatpants, and Nike Jordan sneakers.
