ELKHART, Ind. (WNDU) – The Northern Indiana Hispanic Well being Coalition (NIHHC) held a group “thanks” brunch and resilience celebration this weekend.

Held on the Harmony Occasion Heart in Elkhart, the Saturday occasion applauded the coalition’s companions, workers, and volunteers who’ve stood with the group in the course of the coronavirus pandemic.

“At this time, we’re celebrating resilience. It has been two, two onerous years for all of the group, and we needed to say thanks. Thanks for being there for us. Thanks for being there for the group. Thanks for retaining the group safer. Thanks for giving up, typically, in their very own wants, for serving others. And we needed to say, ‘let’s have a good time life, let’s have a good time that we’re right here,’” mentioned Liliana Quintero, NIHC government director.

WNDU’s Gary Sieber emceed the occasion.
