INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — A choose has thrown out a lawsuit claiming that Indiana’s state treasurer violated state legislation by awarding contracts value greater than $6 million to companies linked to her political supporters.

The lawsuit was filed by a former prime workplace staffer whom Treasurer Kelly Mitchell fired in 2014. It claimed the Republican bypassed required approvals from different state companies in awarding contracts for lobbying and monetary companies with out searching for aggressive bids.
