IMPD detective arrested for domestic battery

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A detective with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was arrested for a domestic dispute overnight, police say.

IMPD detective Katie Gourley was arrested by police in Johnson County overnight.

Detective Gourley is an 8-year-veteran of IMPD and is assigned to the aggravated assault unit. Detective Gourley has been placed on administrative duty while IMPD reviews the incident.
