Aliyah Boston was the 2023 WNBA Rookie of the Year, averaging 15.8 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. The Fever (13-27) improved, though they didn’t make the playoffs.

With the NCAA women’s basketball career scoring leader on board, Fever fans are excited. And more Indianapolis sports fans like the thought of cheering Clark, Boston, Tyrese Haliburton of the Pacers and Anthony Richardson of the Colts for years to come.

Of course, the Fever haven’t said they would pick Clark No. 1 overall on April 15, but is there any other realistic possibility?
