Big Ten football predictions for Indiana in 2024
It’s a new era of college football, part of a new season which began on Saturday with four FBS games. USC is now in the Big Ten. Texas and Oklahoma are in the SEC. Cal and Stanford are in the ACC. All of this will take some getting used to. How teams handle long-distance travel and new scouting reports and various rule and policy changes this season will be constant points of reference. There is a real sense of uncertainty starting this season, which is a marked and refreshing contrast to the years when it seemed that Clemson and Alabama had a lock on the national championship game. We at Trojans Wire will spend the 2024 season working with our College Wire colleagues at the websites whose teams are joining USC in moving to the Big Ten: Ducks Wire, UW Huskies Wire, and UCLA Wire. Our Big Ten football roundtable is predicting the records for all 18 Big Ten football teams. We continue with Indiana, under first-year head coach Curt Cignetti, who replaces Tom Allen, who is now defensive coordinator at Penn State. Here’s our roundtable set of Big Ten football predictions:
ZAC NEEL, DUCKS WIRE: INDIANA GOES 3-9
DON SMALLEY, DUCKS WIRE: INDIANA GOES 7-5
ROMAN TOMASHOFF, UW HUSKIES WIRE: INDIANA GOES 6-6
MATT WADLEIGH, UCLA WIRE: INDIANA GOES 4-8
