Washington, Crawford, Harrison and Perry County Soil and Water Conservation Districts had been collectively awarded Clear Water Indiana (CWI) funds of $71,250.
Washington County is the lead county for this grant. Perry County will obtain a complete $6,250 in cost-share funds and land homeowners can apply for funds to assemble livestock practices. The CWI value share funds can be found and is open to all Perry County land homeowners. If a county doesn’t spend or allocate their funds through the first two years of the grant, quantities will likely be distributed to different counties who’ve unfunded candidates.
CWI grants will present technical and monetary help to land customers and funds for the fee share program will likely be used for livestock feed pads, livestock watering techniques and pasture/hay land administration.
