SALINE COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) – A new center in Eldorado, Illinois is now open for children to feel empowered with the opportunity to give.

4 Good Community is partnering with the city of Eldorado, the Stress & Trauma Treatment Center and the Fowler-Bonan Foundation to create a “Kids’ 4 Good Center” in southern Illinois.

It’s designed to allow children the opportunity to have a free dignified shopping experience.

Besides shopping for their individual needs, the program encourages children to select resources to give to others in need within their community.

”All these products that come from Amazon, and these kids are gonna have the opportunity to shop. One gift for themselves, and two gifts to give to other children. It’s blessing children to have a gift, but also teaching kids to serve and give back to others,” said Illinois State Senator Dale Fowler.

Children from any community across southern Illinois or the surrounding areas are welcome to participate in this character-building program.
